Where The Wild Things Are

ok so yesterdays post was quite pathetic it's no secret that dandruff control is a tip in just about every aspect of life. but today im bringing it back with a vengance. i've got gossip and though spreading rumors is mean u still love to hear them anyway so don'e even front. be on the look out for the spring 2010 london blog on wed. so here goes my little try at being gossip girl (u kno u love me). by the way peep lady gaga on tonights episode... im just cant wait to see what she wears.

movies to go see:

1. new moon (i got my tickets two weeks ago so im set.)
2. pirate radio(when the british gov banned rock these renegades set up shop on a boat to break the airwaves from their dastardly non rock silence.)
3. fantastic mr.fox (not really sure what its about i do believe thanksgiving feast is implied in all the adds but who cares its got george clooney and meryl streep, what more convincing do you need???)
4. me and orson wells. (its not exactly out yet but it's got an all star cast and a lil romance in their plus zac efron.)

barbie boy...

_word on the street is that taylor lautner is going to have a barbie doll. i kno right. i mean we all love ken but taylor frick frakin lautner is a god (maybe im just exaggerating cause im a teen who likes twilight(not a twihard dont get it twisted) and taylor is only two years older than me but anythings possible...) anyway the doll is sculpted (god those abs) from his character jacob black in the twilight series by mattel. sadly the doll doesnt hit store till february 2010 to coincide with the newmoon dvd release date. even though i gave up barbies quite a while ago i wouldnt mind having this one..


tom sturridge_he's a character in pirate radio blasting dylan in the wee hours of the morning(he plays carl.) he's 23 and has made quite a splash in vantiy fair and being julia. ( i do believe i saw him in a vogue photo spread cant remember if it was teenvogue or big people vogue, ill check.) he was also in the indie film waiting for forever supposed to show up at sundance in january. he's just a bad brit and he's causing quite the sturr (sorry i couldnt resist.)

legacy_hayden panettiere is set to produce the series hms aka harvard medical school (look at you all salty cause you thought i spelled the abrv. for high school musical. go on dust your shoulders off.)

blake lively_spotted at the secret private lives of pippa lee screening in nyc sunday night. she did her little bare under the blazer look she's so fond of. she also wore black crepe shorts by marchesa (a fave brand of mine.) someone peeped her gossip girl costars and beau chance crawford and penn badgley supporting her.

dakota fanning_on the cover of teen vogue check her out. i love her. i hope shes not one of those child stars who tanks casue i really love how her roles in movies are getting more diverse as she gets older. she play a pain infklicting vamp in new moon.

sarah palin on oprah_i watched the interview and i must say i dont hate her anymore. i just want to know what was up with her hair? was that a white woman weave she was sporting or did volume magically spring up from the depths of nowhere to support her hair?? anyway. she had some interesting points but for the love of god she avoided half the questions. go check it out. (this relates to fashion because of her "infamous wardrobe")
taylor swift_if u dont go buy her album i will sock you. i will straight up come through this computer and knock you out. even if you dont like country music you must admit that the natural blond with curly hair and a killer red carpet wardrobe is the boom digiddy. she has buzzz out the wiz-aow. rumor is that she might be dating taylor lautner...idk. i aint mad at her though. like i said she got buzzzz.

daily fashion tip_idk. theres so many things now that im all in the cool aid. let us see (pondering.... pondering...) sequins!!! their awesome you cant even lie and thanks to the whole lot of them popping up all over you dont even have to resict them to night time only outfits. just don't overload dear, we dont want you to catch any saturday night fever or anything of that sort.

TIme Drains

hey it me!! i do believe this is my twenty sixth blog. *tear. im growing up.

any hooo. im freaking out a little inside because my november teen vogue has yet to come. i heard it has jordan dunn and chanel iman on the cover but i wouldnt know because i have yet to recieve mine. i never throw a copy of teen vogue out. i've been getting them since i was eleven.

on the other hand i watched the stella mccartney show today. i do adore that stella, always putting things out that i'd wear. more details on that tmrw. so much to do so little time.

i'm still trying to figure out how to put up pics of all the fantasmical things i see to share with you. lets just say it's a work in progress.

p.s. check out tonights gossip girl. hilary duff and tyra banks are sure to make a splash.

daily fashion tip_statement necklace. its perfect for a simple frock, party dress, or to jazz up you'r plain white tee. for slim in the front women i suggest long beads. no not mardi gras, i mean delicate chains and strands of pearls. if you like chunky find a long necklace with a chunky piece at its lowest part. uber curvy women try chocker like strands. no they should not actually choke you but if they have a pendant it should rest between your collar bones. mid length works for just about any size though it should be worn by those of you not sporting a to b's or d's. try not to layer to much. always take one think off before you leave the house, coco chanel taught me that.

well I'm feeling quite culture warrior like today. it seems that even in my small less fashionable learning enviroment, people actually have taste. *tear. im so proud. so todays topic focuses on this and this as in hair. oh yes, one of the most versatile accesories you shall ever have. even if its short, it is still a ginormous part of your daily outfit.

hairbands have made quite a comeback since gossip girl catapulted it as the "it" essential for all queen bees. think of it as an informal crown of anarchy. this year, headbands are more animalistic. i mean everything from bows to bunny ears have popped up on the streets. i've seen rose headbands made from zippers and scarf headbands turned into floppy hair holders. their everywhere; the ears have it. so heres a breif history of this seasons bow, bunny, and mouse ears

Urgh...

i. am. so. tired.

looks like it's universe 2 (days i havent written) me 11. technically i'm winning but i seem to really be off my biscut at the moment. vitamin water focus, anyone?

it's monday. they truly suck. here are a few tips to keep from crashing liek a jet plane after the weekend,
drink water, eat every three hours (small portions people we are not trying to break belts here), wash your face and hands when you get home, and my favorite_take a nap before you eat.

it seems my shining light for waking up today is gossip girl.

daily fashion tip_it's the end of my all black reign. try emerald. no im not talking about the city in the wizard of oz. the color has a deep mysterious value (like in the nail polish i just bought). pick up a knitted emerald over sized scarf or a sparkling cocktail ring. oh, and what the heck pair it with a black wool jacket or coat (old habits die hard) your not in kansas anymore toto.

My Bad

omigoodness.
i totally messed up. i forgot to post yesterday. even thought no one seems to be reading my blog yet, i still promised my self i would write for 365 days. it just seems that now they wont all be in a row. i realize excuses are the tools of the incompetent ( a quote from my eight grade english teacher) but i was occupied. so to make up for my fault I'm going to relate the very thing that detained me, to fashion; television. that's right. all my favorite shows and movies, every monday.(this goes out to my boo-ky bart simpson{eat my shorts})


weekend re-cap_ i just want to say that what is known as the most boring night on television, (this excludes all sport related events) is now the historic topic discussion of the next week and possibly decade. the vmas. props to lady gaga for her handsome date, kermit the frog, taylor swift, for rocking the subway, greenday, for crowd surfing on stage, and last but not least, jay-z, for appearing in a fashion only he could, rolling up before the show ends in baggy jeans, leather vest, ray bans, and a yankees cap. hats off to you.


but despite all these precious moments, including dying on stage courtesy of lady gaga, where overshadowed by kanye west. i like kanye, i really do, i think hes an excellent musician. i realize that those who behave seldom make history( another quote) but respect is never to be broken. taylor swift won the award because america voted, and they voted for her primarily. if kanye didn't like that he could have saved his comments for after the show. if he had won and someone told him that fifty cent had the best video of the year, he would have went off. katy perry said on twitter "FUCK YOU KANYE. IT'S LIKE YOU STEPPED ON A KITTEN."

but for the record. everyone at the vmas was dressed to the ts. alica keys with her sparkling leggings, taylor swift with that scarlet flirty dress, and taylor lautner with his finely tailored suit. no pun intended.


what held me last night was gossip girl. more on that tomorrow but for everyone who watched_who designed that gorgeous peach dress serena wore to the polo match? to die for!!! it was literally beautiful. and blair brought it down with that gold, embroidered dress. jenny wore what i believe is missioni at the beginning of the show, dan rocked his dior suit at the polo match, and vanessa is always hot in whatever she dons with those bo-ho curls. thank god anna sui has that line for target. now the rest of us can be just as fantasmical as the shows characters.


daily fashion tip_headbands. they work for even the shortest hair. (shaved and close cut heads are an exception i suggest large earring) i recently purchased a black bow head band. not to big not to small, just right for my bobbed hair. urban outfitters has been putting out these really funky rose headbands made from zippers, they also have tons of feathery ones as well. so go make blair proud. sport that headband like you rule the upper east side, or whatever side your from. you know you love me.
